The Turn of a CoinI heard the sermon preached  There was terror in the words he had to say.  I heard an angel sing  It was destructive in an unfamiliar way.  I heard the trumpets blare  The walls of the city were torn away.

The Language of DragonsI used to know the language of dragons.  We would sit and talk  Of fair princesses—  Damsels in distress—  And barbequed knights  Slow roasted over an open flame.  Just a hint of smokiness  And not to much vinegar, mind you.   
They'd talk of how  All that metal  Really kept the meat moist  And how they hated it  When no shining armor  Came to the rescue.   
But that was before  Revolution killed all the princesses  And the gun  Banished the knight.

It's over and I'm tired

Saturday afternoon my brother and I arrived and spent time with our father. He was 66 but looked 96—thin and frail and barely able to move. I held his hand for a while and spoke with him as much as he was able. My brother and I said our goodbyes in our own way. Sunday night at 7:40 PM EST he died. The memorial service was Tuesday and after that my brother and I drove back home.

Currently I'm just numb and exhausted. I barely even realize that tomorrow is Christmas—so tired.

Thankyou to everyone who has been kind and supportive through this mess.

well i've been lurking about and hiding in closests :paranoid: and summer is doing me good, my morid thoughts have laid themselves to bed. and i'm very glad for graduation next year ^_^

yea, i mean starting at a new school and then for the entire year feeling like an outcast was not a good thing. i was totally fried mentally.

and graduation, i just hope it goes smoothly.
